Medical Treatment

Almost every person admitted to our alcohol treatment center is in need of some type of medical support. Many people will require alcohol detoxification services. Others may have developed cirrhosis, high blood pressure, hepatitis or a variety of other health related issues.

Our physicians are board certified in their particular medical specialty and have been, ASAM credentialed (American Society of Addiction Medicine). This means that our physicians are specifically trained in the area of alcohol rehabilitation. The importance in understanding alcohol rehabilitation enables our physicians to effectively address the delicate balance between treating medical issues, reducing alcohol withdrawal symptoms with medication and restoring a persons overall health. After an initial medical evaluation is completed, the entire medical and nursing team meets to design a customized medical recovery and alcohol detox plan.
