Relapse Prevention and Alumni Support
While our staff is incredibly diligent in their efforts to help you address the issues that led to your drug addiction or alcoholism, they may place an even greater emphasis on each patient learning how to put their relapse prevention plan into practice during difficult times. We support each patient in learning new coping skills and how to identify “triggers” that in the past would lead to relapse. Each patient’s primary therapist, after consulting with the rest of the drug treatment team, helps you design and customize a relapse prevention plan specific to your discharge needs.
In addition to your aftercare and relapse prevention plan, we have instituted an alumni program second to none. Your alumni coordinator will meet with you several times while in drug addiction treatment and maintain that relationship after your discharge from rehab. You are now a member of a family, completely committed to your continual recovery.
